2013-11-09 Remembrance Day Air Show – Hood Aerodrome, New Zealand.

Thanks once again to The Vintage Aviator for the wonderful show put on today. Our little valley is privileged to house what is apparently now the largest collection of WW1 planes. Each Remembrance Day and Anzac Day they host a country air show and fly the planes as they would have been done in WW1. Thanks to some skilled pilots, the wonderful staff at TVA, Peter Jackson (who set it all up), the ground staff and all the others involved we get to see some truly amazing flying….
